What Happens When the House You Want Suddenly Goes Off the Market?

Have you found your dream house, only for it to suddenly disappear off the market?

I’m working with some buyers who had exactly that happen.

We had been talking about a home they wanted to tour, and the day we were going to schedule a showing, it disappeared from all the online sites. As buyers, you don’t have a way to find out what’s going on and you probably don’t know who to call to find out either.

Before becoming a Realtor, I worked in real estate for six years as a secretary, so I’ve gotten to know a lot of agents in our community over the years. I reached out to the listing agent and found out that the home had been released while the sellers make some updates, and it should be back on the market in just a couple of weeks!

Needless to say, my buyers were excited to hear that. Now we patiently wait, while I keep an eye out for any other homes that might be a great fit for them in the meantime.

Sometimes having a Realtor isn’t just about finding houses online. It’s about having someone who knows who to call when you need answers.
